Ski huts in the Gastein

In Gastein, you can also enjoy upscale gastronomy - in the truest sense of the word - right next to the slopes glistening in the snow. Under the motto "Gasteiner Schihauben", selected ski huts offer not only classic hut dishes but also refined dishes at hood level. 7 renowned top chefs have created individual dishes for 7 different ski huts, naturally from products of the region. Thus, two of the most beautiful things in the world come together in one place: perfect skiing pleasure and consummate culinary delights.
As a guest in Gastein, you can thus get to know a new ski hut every day of your ski vacation and enjoy a sophisticated dish with a matching wine accompaniment, served at an unbeatable price of under €15. Besides the culinary journey leads over 200 runway kilometers by all 4 skiing areas of the Gasteinertal. Of course, you can still find the classic dishes such as goulash, Kaspressknödelsuppe, crispy hot sausages or for those with a sweet tooth, the fluffy Kaiserschmarren on the menus of the Gastein ski huts. These are the dishes that are a must on any ski day.

Perfect for a stopover

The newly remodeled mountain restaurant Kleine Scharte is located in the mountain station of the new Schlossalm gondola lift. At an altitude of 2050 m, you can enjoy the magnificent view of the sublime mountain world both on the sun terrace with 300 seats and in the spacious interior.

A little below on the Schlossalm nestled in the Gastein mountains, lies the Hofgasteiner Haus. In a family atmosphere you will be spoiled with homemade pastries and gschmackigen delicacies.
Reserve your place in the sun with a magnificent panoramic view over the Hohe Tauern mountains at the Hamburger Skihütte and let us spoil you with regional specialties.
Nearby, next to the Hochalm lift, the culinary offer of the Weitmoser Schialm will surprise you, whether on the large sun terrace, the original ice bar or in the cozy panorama parlor you will be spoiled with delicacies. Many raw materials and especially the organic meat for the refined prepared beef dishes come from our own alpine pasture. Grilled lava stone, baked potato, something from the varied strudel buffet or a plate from the daily fresh salad buffet - there is something for everyone.

Halfway up the mountain, locals and guests meet in the Aeroplanstadl on the large sun terrace or at the Aprés Ski Disco on the Schlossalm. Easy to reach even for non-skiers, the Stadl is only a few minutes away from the middle station of the Gastein cable cars. After a well-kept hut party - perhaps after enjoying a portion of Kasnock'n - the natural toboggan run takes you back down to the valley.
At the Stubnerkogel mid-station, the Bergstadl and the Ahornhütte entice hungry and thirsty winter sports fans to stop for a bite to eat.

Special places for extraordinary hours

The Bellevue Alm directly on the slope of the Stubnerkogel is almost 600 years old and is considered the mother of alpine pastures. Ancient wooden streetcars and planks, carved and painted furniture make the hut uniquely cozy. Experience an unforgettable evening with selected specialties, shake a leg and whiz back down to the valley on the legendary toboggan run.

The philosophy of the Rossalm team is easily explained, they want to cook everyone's favorite dish and consistently from sustainably produced basic products. The building itself combines modernity and traditional wooden architecture. If you get Austrian delicacies at lunch, it becomes romantic in the evening at the candlelight dinner in front of the fireplace.
